Dear Los Angeles crowd,

Thank you so much for showing up last night at the CGV Cinemas. Thank you for buying a ticket and lining up in the cold for over an hour. The show was SOLD OUT, and that was utterly awesome for us.

I would like to apologize from the bottom of my heart that you guys could not watch the film last night. There were horrible tech problems with the HDCAM player which we tried to address for an hour and a half. And since there was an Iron Man 3 screening at midnight at the same cinema, we could not do a backup plan for the same night. Please believe me when I say that the The Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival folks and i tried everything we could to troubleshoot the tech problems.

The film screening and Q&A has now been moved to TUESDAY, MAY 7, 9:30PM, CGV CINEMAS. If you had a ticket for last night, please just bring it again and it counts as your ticket. If you couldn’t make it on Saturday and now can for Tuesday, please know that around 30 people refunded their tickets, so despite it being sold out, there are now available tickets for Tuesday! 

Show up at the cinemas early to get your tickets or call the LAAPFF BOX OFFICE at (213) 680-4462 to 68.

Marie's hung over look is completely genuine. 7,000 feet above sea level, you get drunk REALLY easily. Producer Bernard Dacanay can do no wrong. He even does mug shot posing really well. Producer/Line Producer Daphne Chiu is the first to arrive at Park City. Producer John Sy is such a badass perfectionist that he REJECTED his Slamdance mugshot and had Bernard take another one for him. Co-writer/Co-producer Ramon De Veyra was feeling really cold &... This Saturday (April 20) at Co.Lab Brixton, Marie Jamora will be at the Heima Design Discussions, talking about her inspiration behind the design of What Isn’t There (Ang Nawawala).

She will elaborate about the process with her various collaborators for the film — from costumes (with stylist Mara Reyes), to set design (with Production Designer Trinka Lat), to cinematography (with Director of Photography Ming Kai Leung), to posters (with photographers EverywhereWeShoot! and typographer AJ Dimarucot), and album art (with graphic artist Cynthia Bauzon-Arre). 

We know that the slots are limited, so in case you cannot make it, please go celebrate Heima’s 4th year anniversary and Heima’s other half, Bong Rojales’ birthday at their BBQ! You can ask Marie your design questions as she is drinking beer.
